Weighted average purchase price
Each price is weighted by quantity purchased. A simple mean is wrong when quantities differ.
Average price = Σ(price × quantity) ÷ Σ quantity
Purchases by amount
If you know the invested amount but not quantity, quantity equals amount divided by price. Fees are separate and included in break-even.
