Paint Calculator
Calculate how much paint you need from area, coats, coverage, and an optional waste allowance.
How to calculate paint
Enter the net area, number of coats, and the manufacturer's coverage. Coverage must be square meters per liter for one coat.
Liters = area × coats ÷ coverage
Allowance and example
An allowance covers touch-ups and normal loss but does not replace product instructions. For 50 m², two coats, and 10 m²/L, the base is 10 L; a 10% allowance gives 11 L.

Should I subtract doors and windows?
